Because a generation cannot wait forever.

Behind every figure is a child losing a year, a teacher who has left the classroom, a desk that sits empty. Every year that passes raises the cost of catching up.

A word in its proper place sets something alight.

We exist for the children of Venezuela whose childhood is waiting. For the curiosity that is bigger than the access. For the generation growing up in pause, with the intelligence intact and the opportunity half-given.

One foundation.
All of our light.

Propagaluz exists to carry resources from outside Venezuela to an organization already doing the work. They sustain the classrooms, pay the teachers, put books in the hands of children who would not otherwise have them. Our proceeds go to them.

A movement of popular education that began in 1955 in a home in a working-class Caracas neighborhood, with 100 students. Today it works in 22 countries.

In Venezuela they run 350 education centers and 22 educational radio stations in the country’s most vulnerable communities, reaching more than 100,000 students.

Propagaluz is an independent initiative. We are not partners of Fe y Alegría and are not endorsed by them. We name them only to tell you where our proceeds go.

When the ground shook, we turned toward it.

On June 24, 2026, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 struck northern Venezuela. At the time, we momentarily directed our proceeds to emergency relief.

in supplies and medicine, delivered to Los Roques and Caracas

Los Roques

With supplies unable to reach the islands after the disaster, we sent medicines to Los Roques.

Caracas

We delivered tents, baby formula, diapers, clothing, food, water and medicine to centros de acopio in Caracas.

Same conviction, different tool.

The medium then was ink and paper. The medium now is a foundation that protects the schooling and the voice of the next generation. The conviction has not changed: this work belongs to the community.

What we do for the children of Venezuela matters more than what we say about ourselves. So this section stays short. — Para Opa
